The pictures in this site have been photographed primarily in Ohio, and mostly within Montgomery and Greene Counties. Most of the warbler photos were taken at Magee Marsh on Lake Erie's southern shore. The Vandalia area, however, offers many well-visited parks that also provide plenty of warbler and other wildlife opportunities. The nesting loon and ospreys are from fishing trips to Canada with my father. Well, it was primarily a fishing trip. I just found it difficult to let go of the camera for any significant period of time. Naturally, the Yellowstone Park photos are some of my favorites, but I'm always on the lookout for unusual shots and for birds, bugs, and animals I still have not managed to shoot (with the camera.)

Most images are cropped and resized portions of an original 4, 8, or 21 MB digital camera shot. Eventually, I hope to offer CDs or downloads and prints for sale via the web site, but for now, if you are interested in any of the photos or in a CD for use as a screen saver, please contact me via email stanmarste@aol.com.

As I plan to continue adding pictures and videos to this site, any delivered CD will likely contain additional photos that have not yet been posted to the website and images that weren't on previous CDs because I hadn't yet taken the picture. Images on CD will be suitable for computer screen viewing, for desktop backgrounds, and for screen savers. I have printed most of the original images as 4x6, 8x10, and several at 10x14 and 16x20, at SAMS and at various online print shops, and have been very pleased with the results. Please check back every couple of weeks for new photos, videos, and for additional updates.
