-- Snowy Owl --

Here are a couple of images of the snowy owl we saw today (3 December 2011) along Scipio Road (Coords N 41.18952 W 084.81639) Harlan, Indiana. This was slightly west-northwest of the sighting on Stateline Road on 2 December. After about 15 minutes, the owl flew further west-northwest to a pole on Knapp Road (Coords N41.19202 W 084.82608). After Knapp Road, the owl flew to another pole on Antwerp Road (again a bit to the northwest) but when we arrived at that location, the owl was gone and we hadn't seen it depart. We circled the area several times but did not see the owl again.
